Hello, Scod here from Tripod.
Tripod, as you may or may not know, is the collective name of three gentlemen from Melbourne (including me) who have been making song-funnies for over a decade now. In that time we've written songs for television, radio, CDs and countless live shows too. Which adds up to a heaps large bunch of songs.

Every now and then someone, quite off their own back, makes an animation or video clip for one of our songs and sends it to us. Which is always a great buzz for us and a very interesting collaborative experiment. What we thought might be fun is if we put the call out and turn it into a bit of a thang... So in 2007, we did and received a bunch of awesome clips and then performed them live during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

We had such a good time and the entries were so cool that we’ve now entered the third year of the annual Idio Clips competition!
